What is Enriched Property Data?
Canopy Connect offers a great feature called Enriched Property Data to accompany the homeowners' policies that are pulled in the Canopy Connect activity dashboard, giving you a view of your prospect’s homeowners insurance coverages, deductibles, premiums, and declaration pages, and now the detailed property information you’ll need to generate an accurate and winning quote.
Enriched Property data points include:
Property Characteristics: year built, property class, square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms, stories, units, and more.
Building Characteristics: construction type, foundation, frame, roof, heating, cooling fireplace, sewer, pool, and garage
Valuations: market values, assessed values, purchase price, and purchase date
How to get Enriched Property Data
For Agency Plus and Agency Complete subscribers, Enriched Property Data is available immediately in these plans at no additional charge.
For Agency Starter subscribers, this feature can be activated as an add-on feature for $70 per month. You can contact us either via live chat or by emailing [email protected] to request this add-on feature.
For API users, Enriched Property Data is accessible through the Property Data Schema. Contact your Canopy Connect representative to enable this API.
How to retrieve Enriched Property Data
Navigate to your dashboard and click on the Submissions in the left side menu. Click on the pull you'd like to view.
Once the pull is open, click on the Homeowners policy button.
Clicking the Homeowners button will expand the homeowner's policy information section. You will see the standard property data in the coverage table like the policy number, total cost, covered dwellings and policy dates, as well as a Fetch Property Data button. Click Fetch Property Data to bring in the enriched property data.
Once the information has been gathered, the section will expand with the new property details.
