Why does Canopy Connect ask to connect to my insurance account?
When you sign into your insurance account, Canopy Connect creates an encrypted connection between your insurance company and your agent. This is safer and easier than trying to get the information from your insurance documents and typing things out in an email.

It is normal to worry about security, especially when it comes to your information. Canopy Connect takes great care to safeguard your information from malicious attempts to access and steal access. Canopy Connect never shares your login and password information with any third party.

How safe is my prospect’s information?
Keeping our users’ data secure at all times is our highest priority. All user data is encrypted end-to-end, at rest and in transit. We use 256-bit AES encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit.
Canopy Connect is SOC 2 Type II certified, which means we had an independent auditor evaluate our product, infrastructure, policies and governance over an extended period of time, and certify that we meet or exceed the highest enterprise-level standard of security and compliance.
