Pull Refreshing lets you automatically re-pull insurance information from past prospects at a regular interval. This is useful for staying on top of renewals, market changes, and life changes without requiring any action from the prospect.
Plan availability and pricing:
Refreshing is included on the Elevate and Peak plans at no additional cost. Refreshed pulls count toward the total pulls included in your package. If you're unable to refresh pulls on your dashboard, contact support via live chat or by emailing support@usecanopy.com.
How refreshing works
You can enable refreshing for individual pulls or for all new pulls going forward. Once enabled, a pull will automatically refresh at the interval you've configured on the Settings page (monthly by default, configurable from 1β12 months).
Important: Enabling a refresh does not trigger it immediately. The refresh occurs after the specified interval has passed from the date you enabled it. For example, if you enable refreshing today with a 1-month interval, the pull will refresh one month from today.
If you no longer want a pull to continue refreshing, you must manually disable the refresh β it will otherwise continue at each interval.
Note: If you enable automatic refresh for all future pulls, each pull will be refreshed at your preferred frequency and the costs could accumulate. Refreshed pulls count toward your package total.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't I enable refreshes on my dashboard? Refreshing is included on the Elevate and Peak plans. If you're unable to access it, contact support via live chat or by emailing support@usecanopy.com.
How far back can I enable refreshes? You can enable refreshes for pulls starting from May 20, 2023.
Why isn't refresh available for certain carriers? Refreshing launched with a subset of the most common carriers. Support for additional carriers is planned for the future.
How does refreshing work with integrations? For integrations built on the Canopy Connect side, refreshed data will not be automatically sent to the rater. You can manually trigger pushes by clicking the Submit To button in the submission information tab.
What refresh frequency can I select? Any monthly frequency from 1 to 12 months.
How will I know when a refreshed pull is ready? You'll receive an email notification, similar to the notifications you receive for original pulls.
I clicked Enable Refresh, but the pull hasn't updated. Why? Refreshing does not trigger immediately. The pull will refresh after the interval you've configured has passed from the date you enabled it. For example, with a 1-month interval, a pull enabled today will refresh one month from today.
Can a pull be refreshed immediately? Not at this time, but immediate refreshing is on the roadmap.
Will archived submissions still refresh? Yes. Refreshing doesn't currently check whether a pull is archived. To stop an archived pull from refreshing, locate it by selecting Archive from the Pull Status dropdown, then click the ... icon and select Disable Refresh. To prevent this, disable refreshing on a pull before archiving it.
I disabled "Enable Refresh on all New Pulls," but I'm still receiving refreshed pulls. Why? Disabling this setting only prevents new submissions from having refresh enabled. Pulls that were successfully submitted while the setting was active will continue to refresh. To stop those individual pulls from refreshing, click the ... icon on each one and select Disable Refresh.
