How to create a Custom Form for your Link Flow

Standard Link Flows are available on all plans. Custom forms in Link Flows are available on Agency Plus, Agency Complete, and Agency Pro plans.

Only Admins will be able to edit the Link Flow Screens. Users will be able to change the Link Flow assigned to their link.

Where to find Link Flows

Link Flows are housed on the Your Links tab of the dashboard. Navigate to the Your Links tab and click the > icon to expand it. Next, click Flows to open the Flows page.

Your dashboard will come equipped with a Default Link Flow already setup. The Default Link Flow will be automatically assigned to any new links created.

Adding a new Custom Form Link Flow

To create a new Custom form for your Link Flow, navigate to the Your Links tab and click the Manage Link Flows button on the upper right hand side.

Click the Create New Flow button on the right.

The Edit Flow screen will open with the Default Link Flow template loaded. To add a new page to your Link flow, click the +Add Section button and select the Custom page.

When you select Custom, the Link Flow template will automatically guide you to that page. You’ll have the ability to select the visibility for the fields on the page using the drop downs in the menu on the right. As you change the visibility of these fields, you’ll see the preview on the left display those changes.

Select the type of field you would like to create. There are 4 options:

  • Text

  • Number

  • Yes/No

  • Date

You can use whichever type of field you would like for the page and have multiple types used on a page. For this example, we selected Text.

Enter your custom label for the field in the Label text box. You have the option to make this a required field by clicking the Required check box under Validation. Click Save. Your preview will then update to display your custom fields.

Click < Back to navigate back to the main menu when you are done adding fields.

Click Save to save the Custom form to the link flow.

Information entered into a custom field on a Link Form will be displayed in the Additional Information section of the submission when viewing the submission on the Submissions tab.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Why can’t I see Custom in the drop down? If you do not see Custom in the drop down, this is because you aren’t on the Agency Plus, Agency Complete, Agency Commercial, or Agency Pro plan. You’ll need to upgrade your plan to access this option.

  2. Why can’t I edit Link Flows? Why is the Manage Link Flow button missing? Only Admins will be able to edit the Link Flow Screens. Users will be able to change the Link Flow assigned to their link.

  3. How many custom pages can I add to a Link Flow? The limits for link flows are up to 3 fields per page for up to 10 pages.

  4. Why can't I save my Custom question? You most likely have a word that is filtered out for security purposes. Filtered words include things like username, password, SSN #, and others that are considered sensitive information. Remove these words from the page and you'll be able to save.
