How to self map fields for the Policy Paste Extension

If you need to map a field in your web form that is not pasting correctly, you can now do so directly from the extension.

First open the extension in the browser by clicking on it in the extension toolbar than click the Troubleshooting icon in the bottom right of the extension.

Next, select the field that should be pasted from the drop down, then click "Map Field" button. The instance number field is used for handling pages with multiple of the same type of field in a page. Click on the input in the form where you want to map this input. NOTE: Policy Paste will remember this mapping in the future.

How to self map multiple instances of the same type of field on the same form

If you need to map multiple instances of the same type of field within a single page, you can use the instance number field.

First open the extension in the browser by clicking on it in the extension toolbar than click the Troubleshooting icon in the bottom right of the extension.

Next, select the section and field name to map. Increase the instance number to 2. Changing the instance number means that you're mapping fields for the second driver, assuming that the fields are already being mapped correctly for the first driver by default. The instance number can be increased up to 4. Click "Map Field" button. NOTE: Policy Paste will remember this mapping in the future.

On the pull details page under the "Drivers" dropdown, there will now be a "1" and a "2" button. Click on the "2" button to select which driver's information should be used to fill the secondary driver fields you just mapped.
